Antonio Larosa is a singer-songwriter from Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. At a young age, Antonio took to the arts, specifically music and drama. He began playing the guitar at 10 years old and upon graduating high school, attended the jazz program at Capilano University, with a focus on guitar.
In 2011 Antonio was presented with the opportunity to attend The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Manhattan, New York. While there, he studied method acting and musical theatre and was cast in the production, Into The Woods.
Antonio later joined John William Dexter’s Latin-crossover group, Bailamos. In 2015 they recorded a full-length album and filmed a PBS special that aired all over Canada and the United States. Since then, they have toured throughout North and South America.
In 2016 Antonio released his debut album Steadfast, which features nine tracks that Antonio wrote himself. Channelling his love for rock, blues and country music, Steadfast presents a unique and timeless sound.
Antonio grew up listening to the music of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, and other artists falling under the country, rock, and blues genre. This music had a profound influence on His vocals, guitar playing, and songwriting. Having a passion for this music, Antonio decided to create a Country Rock N Blues Review, containing classic songs from the past. This show is a great time for all ages and is sure to have audience members singing along
