Becki Biggins is a Grammy-Nominated jazz singer & saxophonist. She is an award-winning artist, including being named American Billboard’s Best Smooth Jazz Artist, and has had three US No.1 albums in the US jazz charts with writing partner Paul Hardcastle (19, The Wizard). The pair also made their mark on the Billboard Top 200 with their first album Hardcastle V. Becki has performed for Princes, Prime Ministers and Presidents across the globe, and has appeared on UK National TV and radio shows.
Becki began performing jazz at the age of 12, and went on her first international tour, playing at the legendary Mardi Gras in New Orleans, the following year. Since that auspicious start she has released three independent jazz albums, the latest entitled The Positive, (featuring pianist to the stars Laurie Holloway) to much acclaim. Her most recent trip to the US saw her performing at the Carlyle Hotel in New York City after being approached by the house band; one regular commented, ‘Darling, Liza was here last week, and they didn’t ask her to sing!’
Becki is currently working on material for her fourth independent studio release, as well as renovating her house and raising two small boys with her fiancée, TV presenter and adventurer/explorer Andy Torbet. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, both in the family campervan and further afield, exploring the outdoors and lifting weights.
