Artist Overview

DAVID JENNINGS - This Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, actor
and recording artist has traveled the world, performing with such stars as
Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Patti
LaBelle and many others. David was most recently seen on Broadway in
AFTER MIDNIGHT, featuring Fantasia, Vanessa Williams and Toni
Braxton. He also starred as “Curtis Taylor, Jr.” opposite Jennifer Holliday
in DREAMGIRLS, as well as alongside American Idol’s Ruben Studdard in
the Broadway Tour of AIN’T MISBEHAVIN’. His additional Broadway
show credits include RAGTIME, MISS SAIGON, SISTER ACT, SMOKEY
JOE’S CAFE, PORGY & BESS and a host of others.
David received rave reviews on London’s West End in the smash Ray
Charles tribute “I Can’t Stop Lovin’ You.” He also gave a special New
Year’s Eve concert performance at the invitation of the King of Morocco at
the royal palace in Casablanca, and entertained for Fourth of July festivities
for the President and First Lady at the White House.
On screen, David guest starred on the F/X television police drama THE
SHIELD starring Michael Chiklis and Glenn Close. He also appeared in
comedy sketches on NBC’s THE TONIGHT SHOW, in the films
SLEEPLESS and BURNING SANDS, as well as in a variety of TV
commercials, jingles and studio recordings. His single recording “I’m Not
Afraid To Love You” (Bobcat Records) continues to receive wide acclaim in
venues around the world.
The Seattle Times calls David Jennings “…a knock out!” and ABC TV says
“David Jennings had the place rocking and has one of the finest voices
you’ll ever hear.”
