Jordan Bennett can thrill an audience no matter if he is performing in a small cabaret setting or in a two-thousand seat concert hall. He enjoys performing as a solo artist as much as he enjoys sharing the stage with other talented entertainers.

Jordan recently starred in the new musical “Passin” It On” with Len Cariou. He also starred in the new Charles Strouse (Annie, Bye Bye Birdie) musical, Real Men which had its world premiere at The Coconut Grove Playhouse. The Miami Times said, “Bennett, who rocked the Playhouse some seasons back in ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’, does so again in the shows most powerful number.”  When he starred as Al Dubin in that show, the same paper said, “Jordan Bennett is flat-out spectacular as the ebullient, tormented Dubin. Bennett’s silky, powerful singing voice is matched by his expansive, driven characterization.”

Jordan also appeared in The Education of Randy Newman at the South Coast Repertory Theatre.

Earlier, he starred at the Shubert Theatre in Los Angeles in a world premiere presentation of the new musical, Masada. He also appeared at the Shubert in Les Miserables, starring as the heroic Jean Valjean. In a review of that show The Los Angeles Times said of him: “Bennett has a big voice and a large store of exquisite tenderness and enviable ability to sustain it in the high notes." He then went on to Broadway to play another larger than life character, Cyrano De Bergerac in Cyrano: The Musical.  Mr. Bennett also appeared on Broadway in Shenandoah. The San Diego Repertory Theatre presented Mr. Bennett as Count Dracula in the new musical, Dracul. One of his other favorite projects is a two-character musical he created about the life of Mario Lanza entitled, Dear Mario. He has also starred in productions of Evita, Chess, Perfectly Frank, The Fantasticks and many other shows.

Jordan is a member of The Dramatists Guild and A.S.C.A.P. and has written songs and scripts for the theater, film and television.

He has co-developed and wrote all singing and vocal arrangements for the hit vocal group, The Aussie Boys.
