JUSTIN ABRAMS

Justin Abrams (Born July 26, 1985) is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist best known for his work with Orange County-based Indie Rock band Justin Abrams & BC, originally named Beyond Conception. Abrams is also known for his multiple musical placements on programs for MTV Networks, as Composer and Music Contributor on feature length films; most notably 2010's National Lampoon's Sex Tax, and as theme song Composer for the NFL's San Diego Chargers (2010-2012).

EARLY CAREER

Justin Abrams began his professional music career at the age of 15 when he was invited to join Drake Bell’s band Drake 24/7. Shortly after becoming a Drake 24/7 member, Abrams launched his solo career by performing local gigs in the Orange County area. As he beganto attract media attention from newspapers and magazines, Justin decided to hone his piano and songwriting skills, receiving mentorship from Andrew McMahon (Jacks Mannequin, Something Corporate).

THE BEYOND CONCEPTION YEARS

In 2002, at the age of 17, Justin co-founded the band Beyond Conception with brother and fellow musician Matt Abrams. Beyond Conception, helmed by Justin as frontman, singer, songwriter and pianist, was created “with a clear vision; to create a musical vehicle that will influence positivety, inspiration, love, and passion along with an outlet for self expression on the most personal level". With a garage band styling and grass roots marketing tactics, Justin and his band mates reached out to listeners at malls and other pedestrian heavy sites with ipods and a simple sentence, “Just give me two minutes”. The band's fan base began in Orange County, California and extended to the North West by 2006, through touring and self promotion. By the end of 2009, Beyond Conception, had touched upon a National following, employing multi-media outlets such as itunes, youtube, facebook, vimeo and spotify. The band has recorded four studio albums since 2002. In 2011, Beyond Conception released their fourth album, titled Flow, which was produced by acclaimed Producers Jack Douglas and Jim Wirt. Justin and Beyond Conception have performed with such notables as Five for Fighting, America, NOFX, We are Scientists, Face to Face, Marcy Playground and Stereophonics.
