Suzie G, guest headline entertainer invites you into her world of sophisticated music, fabulous costumes and entertaining presentations of some of the world’s most favourite classical and popular tunes.
Playing on her white electric violin, she dazzles her audiences with beauty of sound, glamour and a great sense of FUN!! She performs all her music with a live 4-9 piece band and can also perform with full orchestral backing tracks.
Miss G performs her choreographed dance moves to such show stoppers as: The Can-Can, Cotton Eye Joe, Eine Kleine Nacht Musik and Hawaii 5/0-Tequila. Her rendition of The Devil Goes down to Georgia is both entertaining and exciting; a real crowd pleaser. For the party people she plays fun and entertaining medleys featuring Lady Gaga, Madonna, Celine Dion, Michael Jackson and The Village People.
She is now in demand in the Asian region and has included many numbers from that part of the world. Featuring canto super stars Teresa Teng, Francis Yip and K-POP superstar PSY. Her show is both engaging and interactive crossing boundaries and cultures. She plans on recording a brand new album featuring the many songs from China, Japan and South Korea.
Another string to Suzie’s bow are her heartfelt solos with piano, with her interpretations of many popular classics like Hallelujah, The Prayer, Nessun Dorma and many more bringing her audiences to tears and standing ovations.
About Suzie G
Suzie G is the musical and artistic director of Maske Music. She holds a Post Graduate of Music from the Hong Kong Academy of Music, a Bachelor of Music and a Diploma of Music from the QLD Conservatorium. She also holds an A.MUS and L.MUS of Music majoring in Violin.
Suzie began performing at age 5 with the Suzuki violin school in Perth, Western Australia and has gone onto perform as a freelance musician with the QLD Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic and the Melbourne Symphony.
International artists she has performed with include, Il Divo, Nigel Kennedy, Alan Tam (Hong Kong canto pop star), Dianne Warwick, Cliff Richard, Kenny G, The Neil Diamond Tribute Show, Rod Stewart and Jerry Lewis.
In 2006 Suzie G founded the internationally acclaimed electric string trio ‘Maske’. Over the past 12 years Maske has travelled to every corner of the globe entertaining audiences with their high energy explosive show. Suzie G is the first violinist and music producer for the group. As well as being the headlining act they have performed with and supported some of the big names in the music industry including country singer Keith Urban, Britain’s Got Talent winner Paul Potts, Turkey’s number one pop star Emre Aydin, and the famous brothers Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan from India.
Suzie G has entertained on some of the world’s luxury liners of the world, repeat bookings for Cunard, Royal Caribbean International, Regent Seven Seas, Oceania, Holland America, Princess Cruise Lines, to name a few. Her “Australian String Diva” show has wowed her audiences with its exciting renditions of classical and popular hits as well as her interactive singing and dancing style.
On the club scene Suzie has enjoyed success on the local scene in her home town of Brisbane and now once a year she embarks on a series of club dates in around Sydney. She finds this a good challenge and the change to meet new musicians and perform to a broad range of people. She was nominated in 2013 for an ACE Award .
