Australian Tamara Guo (pronounced Ghwar) was born in Inner-Mongolian China and educated in Sydney Australia. Tamara is a super star throughout Asia appearing in numerous movies, television productions, live television broadcasts, concerts, and numerous stage productions including a season on Broadway New York.
Tamara started performing musicals in 2000 when she played the leading role in “Look up the Golden Sun” with The Godot Theatre Company, Taiwan. Quickly recognised as a huge success, Tamara soon became one of Taiwan’s best musical performers and was invited to perform in 2002 on Broadway New York. She co-starred in another Godot production: “The Angel Never Sleeps” touring major Chinese cities of Beijing,Shanghai and Hangzhou as well as all over Taiwan.
Tamara made her drama debut in Taipei in 2001 for the same Godot Theatre Company as leading actress in Peter Schaffer’s “Amadeus” with her performance winning much praise from critics. Later she played the leading role in the English speaking play: “WWW.COM” produced by the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre in 2003, the first time in China an original Chinese play had been performed in English, Tamara’s performance attracted the attention of Shanghai professionals and audiences. She loves to sing, dance and act, and cannot wait to perform for you!
